Instead of simply learning where a muscle is, you’ll explore how it functions within real-life movement, how joints interact, and how the nervous system influences performance.
This course is for personal trainers, S&C coaches, physical therapists, and movement professionals who want to:
This module focuses on essential lower body movement patterns: the hip hinge, squat, lunge, and trunk rotation. You’ll learn how the glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, and core muscles coordinate to produce efficient, stable movement and how to correct common movement faults for better performance and reduced injury risk.
This module covers key upper body muscles, including the pectoralis major and minor, trapezius, rhomboids, latissimus dorsi, teres major, and serratus anterior. You’ll explore the structure and function of the deltoid and rotator cuff muscles, their role in movement and joint stability, and how to optimize shoulder training through biomechanics.

In this module, you will build a strong foundation for understanding human movement. We’ll introduce the purpose and goals of the course, explain why functional anatomy matters, and explore the basics of biomechanics—the science of how forces interact with the body. You’ll learn the difference between structure (anatomy) and motion (biomechanics) and how form dictates function.

This module deepens your understanding of how different movement patterns and muscle actions shape human performance. You’ll explore open vs. closed kinetic chain exercises, how contraction types and movement planes influence strength and stability, and master key concepts for analyzing movement and designing training programs.

This module introduces fundamental anatomical movement terms for analyzing and coaching human motion. You’ll learn key actions such as flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, and internal and external rotation, and understand how they relate to different joints and planes of movement.

In this module, we explore the major muscles of the core and trunk, including the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, obliques, erector spinae, and quadratus lumborum. You’ll learn how these muscles provide dynamic movement, resist unwanted motions, and transfer forces efficiently across the body.

This Advanced Biomechanics module explores advanced biomechanics critical for improving running mechanics, reducing injury risk, and enhancing athletic performance. You’ll explore the gait cycle, plyometric principles, late-stance hip mechanics, core rotation, and foot strike optimization.

This final module presents a holistic biomechanics-based training philosophy integrating skeletal mechanics, neuromuscular control, and adaptive programming. You’ll learn how to assess client readiness, adjust exercises to individual needs, apply concepts like reciprocal inhibition, and design sustainable programs that build strength, stability, and mobility over time.
