How Do I Search for Exercises/Videos in the App? #
This covers the different ways to search in the Strength Training app, depending on whether you want to search everything at once or narrow your search to one section.
Searching the whole app at once #
- Click the Search field at the top of any screen.
- Type any term — an exercise name, a muscle, or a topic (e.g. “squat”).
- Results appear grouped into three categories, each with a count: Exercises, Muscles, and Theory.
- Click any result to go straight to it, or click Show all results to see the full list.
Searching within Exercises #
- Open the Exercises tab from the sidebar.
- Use the Search Exercise… field to filter the grid by name as you type.
- Click Filter to narrow results further by Category, Area, Sub-Area, Equipment, or Movement Pattern.
- Use the Sort By dropdown to reorder results (Default, A–Z, or Z–A).
Searching within the 3D Model #
- Open the 3D Model tab from the sidebar.
- Click the search (magnifying glass) icon on the right-hand toolbar.
- Type a muscle, bone, or joint name into the Find muscle/bone/joint… field.
- Click a result to jump directly to that structure on the model, with its info panel already open.
Tips
- If you’re not sure which section something lives in, use the top bar Search first — it covers Exercises, Muscles, and Theory in one search.
- Use the Exercises page filters (rather than typing) when you know the type of exercise you want but not its exact name — for example, filtering by Equipment: Bodyweight.
