Guidelines for sharing Muscle & Motion animations on social media, and for using content in professional material / commercial products.
Social Media #
As a subscriber, you’re allowed to share Muscle & Motion’s photos and videos on your own social media, but only under these conditions:
- Active subscription required: you must hold an active, paid subscription (not the free version) to the app the animation is from.
- Attribution: credit Muscle & Motion and the app name in your post — e.g. “Image courtesy of Muscle and Motion Strength Training app (@muscleandmotion)” — and tag @muscleandmotion.
- Content restrictions: Exercises and Muscular Anatomy content can be shared. Theory section videos are not allowed for sharing.
- No redistribution: content is for your own use only. You can’t sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise distribute it to others.
- Non-commercial use only: content can’t be used to support ad revenue or any other commercial purpose.
- Social media only: this permission doesn’t extend to online courses, third-party platforms, personal websites, or apps.
- Ends with your subscription: once your subscription lapses you can’t post new content, though existing posts can stay up.

Commercial Licenses #
If you want to use Muscle & Motion content – animations, videos, images – inside your own platform, course, or product, you’ll need a Commercial License.
There are two options:
Option 1: Deep Link License (easy access, no embedding required) Places direct links to specific M&M exercises or animations inside your platform. When your users click the link, they’re directed to watch the video inside the M&M app itself – no video hosting or file management on your end, and no subscription required for your users (they sign up free and can only view what you’ve shared with them). Good fit for LMS platforms, coaching apps, or learning environments.

Option 2: Commercial Embed License (full integration inside your platform) Embeds M&M videos directly inside your own platform, course, or app using a Vimeo link or embed code – your users watch inside your system, without being redirected out to the M&M app. Good fit for online courses, e-books, digital textbooks, in-app video libraries, or medical/fitness education platforms.
